Please note the following changes go into effect January 2024

1.  6:30 Start.  We are going to start our Zoom meetings at 6:30 instead of 7:00.  I think this will work out better for club members, and some of our Education night speakers who live in later time zones.
2.  Social Night. We’re going to have an in-person social night every month on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.  It will start, just like our meetings, at 6:30.  (But I bet a bunch of you will show up early) The venue may change month to month.  We are looking for a club member to be responsible for Social Night.  It won’t take a lot of time or effort, so it’s a great way to give back to the club.  Let me know if you’re interested.

3.  Competition Results on Clinic Night.  We’re going to move our competition results to Clinic Night, from Challenge Night.  It just seems to make more sense.
4.  Clinic Night.  Mike is going to start sharing the load of on-screen processing with other club members, who will be using a variety of software programs (Lightroom, Photoshop, etc) to manipulate your submitted images.  We will still have a panel making the suggested modifications.
5.  More Consistency.  As of now, our meeting nights are firm for at least the majority of 2024.  First Thursday — Challenge.  Second Thursday — Education.  Third Thursday — Clinic.  Fourth Thursday — Photo Forum.  Social Night — Second Wednesday.  Coffee Gang — First and Third Mondays.
6.  Open Positions.
Photo Forum — We’re looking for someone to head up Photo Forum night (Alex has moved to Education Night).  Photo Forum is a great way to get a little bit more involved with the club.  It’s a low-stress position that requires very little behind the scenes effort.  Please let me know if you’re interested.
President — I’ve been President of EPS for the past three years and it’s really time for someone else to take over.  So far, we haven’t had anyone come forward to fill it.  If no one takes over, I’m going to work with the board, and the club, to spread out the President’s duties.  If you’re currently a board member at large, I will probably be asking  you to be a bit more involved in 2024.
