After Jon and Dave’s talk on lighting I did some digging and found a knock off system for off camera flash and gels. I didn’t want to post anything until I had one in hand to make sure it wasn’t junk. It isn’t junk and the price savings over MagMod makes it very worth looking at. If you are going to wander down the road of off camera flash it is well worth looking at!!

For the first time in I don’t know how many years I folded down the bench in the shop and put the hot lights away and have the strobes back out. As soon as parts get here I have some mods I’m doing to my old Vivitar 283 units. Now all I have to do is find some people willing to be shot by an old guy that only has a little bit of an idea what he is doing.
